This healthy weight loss tip can be explained by leptin, a weight loss hormone.  When the body is deprived of calories, leptin levels drop.  Once the levels are low enough, no more fat loss can be achieved.

Cheat days refill leptin back to a level that makes weight loss possible.

So, follow healthy eating tips by choosing healthful and nutritious foods at least 6 days a week and enjoying your not-so-healthy favorites every once in awhile.
