The cosmetic surgery industry has taken some research that says if you lose weight then your faces ages at a more rapid pace, which ruins your anti aging focus.

The study looked at 200 pairs of identical twins and the results showed that losing one dress size was equivalent to aging a women by 4 years. 

So what makes a women look older? 

Smoking, drinking and sunbathing are all causes for accelerated aging.  Divorce can also cause aging as well as dieting according to some experts.

Let’s explain what they mean by ‘dieting’ though.  As you age your skin may start to stretch and you may lose fullness in some areas of your body.  This for the most part is gradual. 

When it is noted that dieting can accelerate the aging process they generally mean extreme dieting and yo-yo dieting because of the stretching of the skin and loss of tissue. 

So what can you do to minimize this?

Well, for one you can lose weight at a gradual pace through proper diet and exercise and avoid the crash diets.  Crash dieting only causes the yo-yo effect, which then causes accelerated aging. 

You can also take nutrients that have shown to provide powerful antioxidant benefit .

This antioxidant benefit helps with the anti aging care and fights off free radicals and ‘active’ oxygen molecules that cause damage inside your body ie: aging.
